Slow Cooker Pork Chops
These slow cooker pork chops are the best! Cooked in broth with a savory garlic and paprika spice mix, they're tasty, tender, and so easy to make.
Ingreadients :
- 4 (1 ½-inch thick) center-cut boneless pork chops
- 1½ teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 ½ teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon poultry seasoning
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Step by Step :
- Cut small slits in a diamond pattern in each pork chop with the tip of a knife; season with salt and pepper.
- Whisk paprika, garlic powder, poultry seasoning, oregano, and basil together in a medium bowl. Remove 2 teaspoons of this spice mixture and rub generously onto pork chops, rubbing it into slits.
- Whisk broth and garlic into remaining spice mix.
- Pour broth mixture into a 6-quart slow cooker; arrange seasoned chops on top.
- Cover and cook on High, basting periodically with sauce, until slightly pink in the center, about 1 hour and 40 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
- Serve hot and enjoy!
