Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast
This pork roast cooked in a crockpot is one of my husband's favorite slow cooker meals. I usually serve it with buttered egg noodles and sugar snap peas.
Ingreadients :
- 1 cup hot water
- ¼ cup white sugar
- 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce, or to taste
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 2 ½ pounds boneless pork loin roast
Step by Step :
-
- Gather all ingredients.
- Mix water, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, pepper, salt, garlic powder, and hot sauce together in a bowl.
- Arrange onion slices evenly over the bottom of a slow cooker.
- Place roast on onions and pour sauce over top.
- Cover and cook until pork is slightly pink in the center, on Low for 6 to 8 hours or High for 3 to 4 hours. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 145 degrees F (63 degrees C).
- Enjoy!
